About This Department
The Medical Social Work department supports patients and their families through the emotional, social and financial challenges of illness. Our professional social workers provide psychosocial assessment, counselling, discharge planning, and linkage to community and government social services.
The department also supports vulnerable groups including orphans, victims of gender-based violence, and patients with chronic conditions, working closely with clinical teams to ensure holistic, dignified care.
