About This Department
The Surgical Services Department coordinates the full spectrum of surgical care at JOOTRH, from general and emergency surgery to advanced subspecialties including cardiothoracic, neurosurgery, orthopaedics, paediatric surgery, ENT, ophthalmic and dental surgery.
Supported by state-of-the-art theatres, critical care and anaesthesiology, the department performs thousands of elective and emergency procedures each year — including the landmark open heart surgery programme launched in the region.
